ABOUT OUR FACILITY

Located on Higgins Road/Rt. 72 in Gilberts, IL, 4Athletes Fitness offers strength and cardio for individuals of any training level! Our group classes offer you the opportunity to go at your own pace while still being encouraged by coaches and peers. Classes include strength training, speed and agility, cardio, and core strengthening.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Group Weight Training

What to expect in this class? 

  • Low to Moderate Intensity
  • Isolates Strength Training with a small amount of Cardiovascular Training
  • We will focus on 1-3 Muscle Groups per class

How are classes run? 

  • 6-8 exercises
  • 4 working sets
  • 30-60 second rest periods

Recommendations:

  • 3-5 days per week
  • Steady state cardio in between classes
  • Increase your flexibility training

Dietary Recommendations:

  • Higher protein and healthy fat- Eat a variety of nuts and seeds. 1 avocado per day goes a long way. 
  • High vegetable and fruit intake- 3 servings of veggies for every 1 serving of fruit
  • 1/2 gallon of water (women), 1 gallon of water (men) per day
  • Low refined sugar and salt intake

Expected Calorie Burn for this Class: 

  • 300-450 calories (women)
  • 400-600 calories (men)

Estimated Calorie Intake:

  • 1200-1500 calories (women)
  • 1500-2000 calories (men)

When will I expect to see changes? 

  • 12 weeks
Boot Camp

What to expect in this class? 

  • High Intensity
  • Lots of calories burned
  • Total Body Workout- Mixture of Cardio and Weight Training

How are classes run? 

  • 8-10 exercises
  • 1-2 minute working sets
  • 20-45 second rest periods

Recommendations:

  • 3-4 days per week
  • Light weight lifting and/or steady state cardio in between classes
  • Increase your flexibility training

Dietary Recommendations:

  • Higher carbohydrate intake from vegetables and fruit – 3 servings of veggies for every 1 serving of fruit
  • Higher protein intake from LEAN meats- Chicken, turkey, fish, lamb, bison, etc. 
  • Lower fat intake

Expected Calorie Burn for this Class: 

  • 450-600 calories (women)
  • 500-700 calories (men)

  • 12 weeks
